Le projet de recherche examine les avantages et coûts liés à l’accès à l’Accord de l’OMC sur les marchés publics pour la Turquie et l’Égypte. Le premier document examine le cas de la Turquie, le second analyse le cas de l’Égypte. Enfin, le troisième fournit un rapport de synthèse.

Corruption, Developing Countries, Social Policies and Environmental Policies Procurement markets are often considered lucrative markets for potential bribery. Corruption may take the form of payment of a bribe as a reward for an official who can influence the procurement process, manipulation of tender documents to favor a specific bidder, and the use of intermediary companies to cover the illegal activities of the corrupt official.
